Eden Springs acquires Kafevend to become UK’s leading workplace coffee supplier

  Eden Springs, Europe’s leading provider of workplace water and coffee solutions, has acquired UK coffee vending supplier, Kafevend. This is one of a number of recent acquisitions for Eden, which reflects the company’s ambition to become the leading provider of coffee and water solutions in the UK and throughout Europe. Both Eden Springs’ and Kafevend's customers will benefit from the merger, which will result in an even wider selection of services and drinks solutions, as well as a greater level of technical innovation and service.

Strong reputation

Crawley-based Kafevend has an annual turnover of £20 million and employs approximately 100 people throughout England and Scotland. The company is one of the fastest-growing office coffee provider in the UK and specialises in the provision of sophisticated coffee solutions, supplying a range of beverages such as the Flavia brand, provided by Mars drinks. With a client-base made of corporate customers ranging from SMEs to large multinationals, Kafevend has built a strong reputation for a high quality of service and providing flexible supply options for its workplace coffee solutions. The current Managing Director of Eden UK, Brian Macpherson, will take over the management of the Operational functions of the combined business with the title of Managing Director (Operations). John Collins, Kafevend Managing Director, will manage all the Commercial activity and will have the title of Managing Director (Commercial). They will both report into Jean-Marc Bolinger who has been appointed as Executive Chairman for the combined business.
