Working at Eden Springs
We have developed a consistent HR policy throughout Europe with a main focus on our people, based on these four axes:
Our aim is to develop our employees through a fair and transparent process of competencies analysis and development. Through strong tools and common policies we manage a workforce of around 2,000 people across Europe. We share profiles and assessment tools in our recruitment practices.
We can offer attractive local and international career paths for those looking to join the Eden adventure.
Pay and benefits
We believe that incentives play a major role in our business. Our commissions and bonus system has been designed to stimulate and reward individual and collective effort, initiative and risk-taking. Our benefits plan ensures that each employee has a dynamic protection system against financial hazard.
One of the main characteristics of Eden is its flat organisation. The proximity of our top management with the needs of both our customers and employees stimulates the local initiative. The communication is direct, simple, transparent and non-hierarchical. Also, when you join Eden, no matter what country you are in, you are joining a community. Through transversal projects and meetings you are in constant contact with your colleagues in Europe, sharing best practices and creative problem-solving tactics.

Graeme Macmillan - Inbound Coffee Team Leader
I have worked for Eden Springs now for over five years. I started as a temporary member of staff but progressed into a permanent full-time role as a member of the delivery enquiries team. I then advanced to the quality team, arranging repairs and resolving customer issues, and after about seven months transferred to our invoicing team to deal with a range of water enquiries.
I was given the opportunity of joining our new coffee team – handling enquiries, orders and machine engineers – when Eden branched into the coffee market. I have now progressed to Inbound Coffee Team Leader, managing the team dealing with all phone, email and web coffee enquires from our own website and Amazon. I have enjoyed working with Eden and look forward to progressing even further and facing any new challenges that may come my way.
Laura Linning - Loyalty Manager
I started with Eden Springs in May 2009 as loyalty team leader for retentions, but through the years I have taken responsibility for key customer retention, outbound loyalty and analysis. The best part of my job is that each day is different and I have a lot of variety as well as responsibility. Eden Springs is a good company to work for as they really listen and understand people's suggestions and can use these suggestions to better the company.
Darryl Johnson - Operations Supervisor
Most of my career I have been in the transport industry in one way or another, mainly as a driver, but in such a volatile industry I was looking for a more permanent role. Eden Springs was an ideal chance to establish myself within the largest water and coffee company in Europe.
I started with Eden Springs in 2010 and eventually turned a rundown route into a manageable on-target and profitable route. On the back of this I was offered a Lead Route Sales Manager role, which I enjoyed immensely as it involved covering every route and cooler engineer tasks during absences, which enhanced my training further. I'm now Operations Supervisor with responsibilities including operations, targets, sales and productivity of all the routes of our depot - basically following the company mission statement: "To preserve our existing customers and bring new customers on board by providing excellent product and service every day".
Ashleigh Sullivan - AP Administrator
I started working for Eden Springs in 2010 after seven years working for a large bank. I began in the delivery enquiries team before moving to the database team in the accounts receivable office, which meant working with various departments and resolving account queries. I then moved to my current position in the accounts payable team dealing with invoices and payments, which was really suited to my skills and previous banking industry experience.
Due to the support of my line manager I began accountancy evening classes and I'm five exams away from my Association of Accounting Technicians qualification. Following on from this I'm looking to eventually become a chartered accountant. With my news skills and qualifications I'll shortly be able to start a new role as a commercial analyst -I'm a prime example of how Eden Springs as a company invests in staff and supports career progression.
Darren Boyd - Sales Director - Non Field Sales
Following a long career in the British Army I started working for Eden Springs in 2000 as a Branch Sales Manager and gained promotion to National Sales Manager within 6 years, heading up the UK field sales teams and working alongside the Commercial Director promoting the Eden brand and products within the water industry. I was fortunate enough to be a part of many business acquisitions, which gave me the opportunity to expand my industry knowledge and business understanding along the way.
After a spell away from Eden Springs I returned in 2013 as Head of Sales, responsible for the field and telesales channels within the UK, working with the Managing Director to align and rebuild the sales procedures and processes. In 2014 the company acquired a large coffee business and that brought me promotion to Director of Non-Field Sales, responsible for telemarking, telesales and all non-field sales duties within the UKs largest water and coffee business. The challenging but exciting world of the water industry brings ups and downs, but working for Europe’s largest water and coffee business brings a sense of pride and the will to succeed on both personal and professional level, preserving our existing customers and bringing new customers on board by providing excellent product and service every day.
