Eden help Aberlour Midnight Sleepwalk

We’re delighted to hear that the Aberlour Child Care Trust’s Midnight Sleepwalk, held in mid-September across the Forth Road Bridge, was a fantastic success with lots of sleepwalkers in PJs and fancy dress keeping hydrated with Eden Springs donated water.

The brave souls who faced the night chill raised a wonderful £15,000 for the charity, aided by Aberlour ambassador Catriona Shearer of BBC Reporting Scotland. There were some fantastically wacky outfits on display as expected, most following a pink and frizzy theme!

MP Derek Twigg visits Eden Widnes

Derek Twigg, Member of Parliament for Halton, recently visited our water distribution site in Widnes to meet Brian Macpherson, Deputy Managing Director, and hear his views on a range of issues affecting the business as a contributor to the local economy.

Our Widnes site provides bottled water coolers and plumbed in water coolers to firms across the North West of England with water sourced from the nearby Pennines.

Derek said ”I was pleased to meet Brian at the Widnes site to hear more about the business and the products they supply. It was also good to speak to a number of employees who told me about the work they do.”

£20 donation to Macmillan Cancer Support with every coffee contract

We’re delighted to announce that we’re offering a £20 donation to Macmillan Cancer Support for every coffee machine rental contract arranged during September.

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

On Friday 30 September Macmillan Cancer Support hold the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, their most important fundraising event where they ask people to hold a coffee morning with all donations going towards those affected by cancer.

Last year the coffee morning generated over £8m, and the launch of our new range of coffee machines seemed like the perfect opportunity to highlight this fantastic event and amazing charity. You can now access the very best in coffee from Eden Springs and know that’ll we’ll contribute to a great cause, however it doesn’t need to stop there – once you’ve got your coffee machine why not host your own coffee morning on 30 September and let us know about it? The more money we can raise to help those affected by cancer the better!

*Terms & Conditions: Donation is per signed contract confirmed by Eden Springs during the month of September 2011. £20 donation will be made directly to Macmillan Cancer Support by Eden Springs.
